Hey there,  I’m Gary

I'm a maker in the Boston area specializing in spooncarving, woodturning, and fine furniture. I’ve been woodworking for over a decade, spending the last few years focused on greenwood carving and woodturning.

I source my materials as sustainably as possible. Whether it’s from salvaging discarded furniture, reusing a chunk of firewood, or cutting up a downed tree on the side of the road! In fact I keep a folding saw in the car for just that occasion.

I’m currently a visiting instructor at the Danforth Museum, take a look at the events page for a list of courses!

Thank you for taking a look at my work!
