An ongoing series of hand-carved spoons. Carved with an axe, a knife, and a gouge. Some for eating, for stirring, and for scooping!

Spooncarving has recently become a much-needed hobby for me. While furniture making and power tool woodworking remains one of my favorite activities, it’s nice to do some quiet evening carving. Working with green lumber has also shown me a different, more organic side of woodworking, and taught me to be much more aware of the greenery around me. I highly recommend it!
